TaskTabs helps users organise browser tabs into task-based workspaces. We are committed to protecting your privacy and minimising data collection.
What Data TaskTabs Stores
TaskTabs stores the following information locally in your browser:
- Task names
- Tab classifications
- Tab URLs and titles
- Notes created by users
- Activity and visit history
- Extension settings
- Auto-assign rules
This information is stored locally using Chrome's extension storage and is not transmitted to external servers during normal use.
Feedback Submission
If you choose to submit feedback through TaskTabs, the information you provide may be sent to Google Forms for product improvement purposes.
Feedback submissions may include:
- Feedback message
- Feedback category
- Extension version
- Timestamp
Feedback is only transmitted when you explicitly click Submit.
Data Sharing
TaskTabs does not:
- Sell personal data
- Use advertising networks
- Use analytics tracking
- Share task or browsing organisation data with third parties
Data Retention
All task-related information remains stored locally until you:
- Delete the extension
- Use the Reset function
- Clear your browser profile
